Vigil Terms of Use (EULA)

Last updated September 22, 2026. These terms apply to the Vigil mobile app published by Agewell Geriatrics / James Lawrenzi, DO.

Agreement

By downloading or using Vigil, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Vigil on devices you own or control, for tracking your own professional credentials and related dates. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or use Vigil to provide a competing credentialing service.

Subscriptions and purchases

Optional paid features are sold as Apple In-App Purchases or Google Play purchases:

Free use includes Try a sample and limited personal vault use. Paid unlock covers features such as renewal reminders and share packet, as described in the app.

All billing, refunds, and cancellations for Apple purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. Google Play purchases follow Google’s terms.

No medical or credentialing advice

Vigil is a personal reminder and document organizer. It is not medical advice, not a medical device, not FDA-cleared, and not a hospital, board, DEA, payer, or malpractice credentialing authority. Always confirm dates and requirements with the issuing body.

Your content

Credential data and documents you enter stay on your device unless you choose to share them. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you store and for complying with your employer and licensing rules when sharing packets.

Disclaimer and limitation

Vigil is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Agewell Geriatrics and James Lawrenzi are not liable for missed renewals, practice interruptions, or damages arising from use or inability to use the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, liability is limited to the maximum allowed by law.
